Ames, EEUU.- Profesionales en acuicultura han desarrollado una serie de webinars (videoconferencias) para hacer que el conocimiento de muchos aspectos de la acuicultura sean de fácil acceso.
Durante el año 2016, North Central Regional Aquaculture Center, la National Aquaculture Association, y la United States Aquaculture Society se asociaron para producir una serie de webinars relacionados con la acuicultura.
La serie de webinars reunió a expertos de todos EEUU en una serie de 15 eventos para discutir temas como la gestión de un estanque recreativo de peces, conocer las reglas de bioseguridad, crianza de peces y mariscos, los beneficios y riesgos del pescado de cultivo comparado con el pescado silvestres.
Además se incluyen webinars sobre acuaponía, cultivo de camarón bajo techo, y empleo de los medicamentos veterinarios para la acuicultura.
