NHA TRANG, VIETNAM — Nha Trang University and the World Aquaculture Society Asian Pacific Chapter (WAS-APC) have officially signed a cooperation agreement to host the prestigious Asian-Pacific Aquaculture 2027 (APA 2027) conference in Nha Trang, Vietnam, from September 7–10, 2027.

The formal signing ceremony marked the official launch of the event’s preparations. It was held alongside the inaugural APA 2027 Steering Committee meeting, which convened prominent representatives from academia, industry, government sectors, and international organizations.

Under the forward-looking theme “Blue Aquaculture for a Resilient Future: Tropical Innovation, Global Solutions,” APA 2027 is positioned as the region’s premier platform for knowledge exchange, pioneering innovation, and strategic collaboration in sustainable aquaculture. The comprehensive conference program will feature specialized technical sessions covering:

  • Advanced aquaculture production and management
  • Aquatic animal health and welfare
  • Precision feed and nutrition
  • Seafood processing and food safety
  • Climate change adaptation and blue economy initiatives
