San Salvador, El Salvador – El Salvador has been officially selected as the host country of the Latin American & Caribbean Aquaculture 2026 (LACQUA26), one of the most important aquaculture events in Latin America and the Caribbean. The event will take place from October 27 to 30, 2026, at the Real Intercontinental San Salvador Hotel, in San Salvador, El Salvador.
LACQUA26 is organized by the Latin American and Caribbean Chapter of the World Aquaculture Society (LACC-WAS), in collaboration with the local organizer CENDEPESCA – Center for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, an agency of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of El Salvador, and with the support of CORTASUR – Salvadoran Tourism Corporation.
