Seagriculture EU 2026 Unveils Full Program as Early Bird Deadline Approaches

GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN – The 15th International Seaweed Conference, Seagriculture EU 2026, has officially released its comprehensive program for the upcoming event held from 16-18 June 2026. As one of Europe’s premier gatherings for the seaweed industry, the conference will convene over 200 global stakeholders to address the pivotal theme: “The European seaweed industry in transition: survival, scale and real impact”.

A Strategic Vision for the Industry

The 2026 edition focuses on the sector’s evolution toward commercial scale and environmental contribution. The event kicks off with opening remarks from Kuno Jacobs (Managing Director, DLG Markets Benelux), Margareta A. Broang (Deputy Lord Mayor of Gothenburg), and Renée Bengtsson (President of Region Västra Götaland).

Keynote sessions will feature industry pioneers, including:

  • Robert Carleke (Inter IKEA Group) and Adrien Vincent (Albatros Advisory) on innovation and financing.
  • Pi Nyvall (Olmix) on scientific advancements.
  • Brian Tsuyoshi Takeda (Restorae) and Xu Ben Zhang (Kelp Forest Foundation) on blue carbon and ecosystem solutions.

Immersion and Networking
