With the early bird rate expiring soon, stakeholders in the seaweed sector are encouraged to secure their place at Seagriculture World 2026, one of the leading international conferences for the seaweed industry. The event will take place from 19 – 21 May 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, the strategic gateway to Asia – the world’s largest seaweed-producing region.
Seagriculture World 2026 will bring together farmers, processors, scientists, policymakers, investors, NGOs, and innovators from across the globe to explore how seaweed can drive climate solutions, strengthen coastal communities, and unlock new commercial opportunities across the blue economy.
A Three-Day Program Connecting Climate, Communities, and Commerce
The event opens on 19 May 2026 with a site visit to local seaweed farms. Participants will gain first-hand insight into cultivation techniques, sustainability practices, and value-added applications through guided farm tours, hands-on harvesting, interactive workshops, and seaweed tasting sessions.
The main conference and trade show will take place on 20 – 21 May 2026, featuring expert-led sessions, poster presentations, and a vibrant trade show showcasing the latest technologies, equipment, and services from across the global seaweed value chain.
The 2026 conference theme, “Climate, Communities, and Commerce: Navigating Seaweed’s Role in Asia’s Blue Economy and Beyond,” highlights seaweed’s growing importance in ocean health, food systems, climate resilience, and sustainable finance.
